Welcome to the Melbourne Soul Club
For lovers of Motown, Soul and Northern Soul music from the late 50's through the hay-days of the 60's and 70's until early 80's. The idea behind what we do is to have a regular soul night that everyone can understand and enjoy. <-- check out the blog entries. The Melbourne Soul Club is celebrating its Fifth year of the regular Motown, Northern Soul and Soul nights, coming together to enjoy the best music there is. 
We play a wide mix of Motown, 70's Soul, Northern Soul, Philly, Stax, Atlantic and Modern as well as some of the classic tunes. And, just about everything else we can dig out of the boxes. It's all about balance. So if you have not had or taken a chance to come to our nights, then come down say Hi. It would be great to see you. Regular DJ's Steve Cowburn and Steve Bardsley are joined most months by guest DJ's (Brian Heart of Radio Port Philip & Jeff Evans of Radio Casey, plus others) adding to the variety and depth of the music we play. We try to keep our DJ talk to a minimum preferring to let the music speak for itself. 
We meet at Bayswater and entry is only $5. All proceeds go to pay for the venue and raffle prizes. None of the DJ's or organisers are paid, we do it becasue we love Soul music and the friendly company.
