Brian Heart
Brian's a welcome guest from the radio. He's been on air at Radio Port Phillip (3RPP) for the past
six years. His first show was "The Soul Scene", then "The Breakfast Menu" and currently
on Friday's with "Friday on my Mind" on 98.7 FM.
HISTORY
Brian's originally from leeds in the UK. Regular visitor to the Leeds Central and the Leeds
Mecca in the late 60's and early 70's, and when visiting the west coast we would get along
to the Blackpool Mecca, and Pips in Manchester.
Scooter enthusiast from that time through until today. Had a GP200 back then, and still
have one today!!
RECORDS
Always been a big fan of Soul Music, in particular Motown. Favourite Motown artists
would have to be The Four Tops, but so many to choose from. I love Northern Soul, but
not the rare eclectic stuff. Anything that is "up-beat" and danceable is for me.
