Elaine leads the soulful Motown Sounds on the Melbourne Soul Club DJ Team.
My favourite music is Motown and soul but I do like all kinds except [you guessed it] heavy metal..!
HISTORY
I was born and grew up in Manchester spending my teenage years in that great 60's era
frequenting The Twisted Wheel, Jungfrau, Oasis and the good old Ashton Palais.
Came to Australia in 1968 and was devastaed, I couldn't find any decent clubs that
played "my music", all is well now though.
FAVOURITE LIVE ACTS SEEN
Seen numerous live acts over the years but my all time favourite was Otis Redding. Love the man and was
lucky enough to see him twice. Other faves seen are: Four Tops, The Temptations, Sam and Dave,
Booker T and The MGs, Ray Charles and The Beatles.
